IQ FireWatch in wildland-urban-interface in Chile

The image shows a detection from early February 2021, where the system detected a wildfire at large distance in such a mountainous area in the southern part of Chile.

Detection of the "Glass Fire" in Napa Valley, California

Particularly noteworthy is the major "Glass Fire" in Napa Valley, one of the most famous wine-growing regions of the USA in California, which occurred in fall 2020. This fire was detected in the middle of the night very quickly by two of our sensors independently of each other under difficult conditions in this hilly area, which was not directly visible for both sensors.

The following pictures show the images of the night sensor, shortly after the detection of the fire, as well as the extent a short time later.
